say a very formal 'please'

-(으)십시오 is the highest-formality way to ask or command, the ending in 어서 오십시오 'welcome'. Every line here puts 하다 'say' after it, so the speaker is quoting somebody's formal request rather than making one: 저를 자르지 말아주십시오 하고 얘기하면서, 'saying please don't fire me'. 해주십쇼, which also appears, is the same ending squeezed shorter in speech.
