다가 맞다

Split this one in two. Where 맞다 means 'be correct', what precedes is a quoted phrase plus the subject marker 가: 고양이 같다가 맞는 것 같아요, roughly 'I think 고양이 같다 is the right way to put it'. Where 맞다 means 'get hit', the -다가 is the connective 'while, in the middle of': 먹다가 맞고 'got hit while eating', 깐족대다가 맞는 거지 'you get hit for winding people up'. Only context tells you which.
