다고 되다

just having X isn't enough

Two different things wear this shape. One is dismissive — X-다고 되는 게 아니다, "it doesn't work just because you have X": 능력과 재능과 노력만 있다고 되는 게 아니고, 멘토스가 많다고 되는 게 아니야, 이게 사포가 있다고 되나 이게?. The other is -다고 돼 있다, "it says that," used when reading information off a document or a screen: A1, A2 블럭이 나왔다고 되어 있는데, 식료품 가격이 높다고 돼 있고요. Whether 있다 follows is what tells them apart.
