The phrase here is 보다 못하다, literally "unable to keep watching," used when someone finally steps in because they cannot bear what they are seeing: 보다 못한 제 와이프가 필라테스에 저를 끌고 갔어요, [보다 못한 꾹이 출격!], 보다 못한 PD님의 극약 처방, 마이크 내리기. Almost every line here is that phrase, usually as a caption introducing whoever intervened. The exception is a comparison, where 보다 is the "than" particle: 이거보다 못한 400, 500만 원 지급하는 곳.
