다 느끼다

feel or realise that…

A plain-form statement dropped straight in front of 느끼다 "feel", with no quotation marker between them. It reports a realisation as it struck the speaker: that's where I felt Mr Camden had guts, one of the few shoots where I felt my life was in danger, seeing that I feel I've become completely Korean. It also works for a reaction to a thing — this pattern feels a bit much, feeling something is cute. The fuller written form would be -다고 느끼다; dropping the 고 is normal in speech.
