-도록 marks the state or result something is made to reach, and 만들다 is the making: 느끼한 것도 잡아줄 수 있도록 만들었습니다! (it's built to cut through the grease), 왼 다리는 매트 바닥과 평행하도록 만듭니다 (bring the left leg so it's parallel to the mat). -게 만들다 says much the same thing; -도록 만들다 sounds more deliberate, which is why it turns up in instructions and product descriptions.
