어 다니다

go around doing something

Says the action happens over and over and all over the place, not as one trip. Five of these eight lines are 걸어 다니다, walking about: 그냥 작가님이 이제 길을 걸어다니면서 'the artist went around the streets.' 뛰어 다니다 is running about — 이거 먹고나면 여기 저기 뛰어 다닐텐데 — and 숨어다니다 is moving around in hiding. What separates it from plain 걷다 is exactly that wandering, ongoing feel.
