-어도 means "even if", so with 하다 it is doing the thing anyway: 안 맞아도 해야 하는 "you have to do it even if it doesn't suit you", 연기 아니어도 할 게 많으니까 "even if it isn't acting, there's plenty to do". Doubled as 해도 해도 it means "no matter how much I do", and both lines here that use it are about something that never gets finished or never improves. Compare -어서, which gives the reason rather than overriding it.
