어 돌아가다

돌아가다 is going back, but two special uses dominate these lines. With the honorific -시 it becomes 돌아가시다, the respectful word for someone dying: 병을 얻어 돌아가시게 되고 "fell ill and passed away". And 미쳐 돌아가다, literally "go mad and spin", is a market or a situation running wild — 요즘에 미쳐 돌아가는 시장 "the market that's gone berserk lately". The plain sense survives in 다시 돌아가 "go back again".
