-아/어도 means "even if," and with 사다 it says the buying happens despite the obstacle: 금을 비싸도 사는 거야 "buy gold even at that price," 나 같아도 사겠다 "even I would buy that," 해외 거였어도 샀을 거 같아요 "I'd have bought it even if it were from abroad." It also appears in the frustrated opposite, 사고 싶어도 살 수도 없고, "can't buy it even if I want to." One line here is not 사다 at all but 살다 "live" — 몰라도 사는 데 지장 없어, "not knowing won't hurt your life" — since the two verbs share some written forms.
