어 계시다

is somewhere — honorific

The respectful version of 어 있다: someone is in the state an action left them in — seated, arrived, standing in line, hidden. 줄 서 계시는 거구나 'ah, you're queueing', 여기에 지금 계속 앉아 계신 것 같아요. Every line here is about somebody else, a guest or a senior or a viewer, because 계시다 raises the person being spoken about and can never be used of yourself. 재윤 특파원 나와 계십니까? is the broadcast use, 'are you with us?'
