날아가다 is literally flying away, and by extension something valuable vanishing. Five of the seven lines here are about percentages of value disappearing (한 달 동안 거의 40%가 날아갔어), which is why the sample reads as market talk, but the other two are physical: a hard shot flying at the goal, and someone sent flying by a car. When a preceding -아/어 verb is attached it names the cause of the flight, as in 차에 치여 날아갔어.
