sound like; play it for you

들리다 is what 듣다 does to you rather than what you do: a sound reaches your ears, or something "sounds like" something else (소희 가삣다 이렇게 들려서 들린 건데). In the 들려주다 / 들려드리다 form the speaker plays or presents something for the listener, which is why broadcast lines use it: 또 다양한 소식들 모아서 들려드리도록 하겠습니다, 제가 지금 양쪽의 의견을 조금 나눠서 들려드리겠습니다. The -아서/어서 in front gives the reason or the way it was done. 듣다 is deliberate listening; 들리다 is what arrives without effort.
