그러다 stands for 'do that / be that way', so this gives the reason behind someone's behaviour: (석진) 청소 안 도와줘서 그러는 거 아니야? 'is it because I didn't help clean?', 설마 부끄러워서 그러는 건 아니지? Three lines use 어서 그러는데, which is a softener placed before a question or a request — 진짜 궁금해서 그러는데 너 여기 들어온 진짜 이유가 뭐야? 'not to pry, but why did you really come here?' It buys you permission to ask.
