-어서 gives the cause and 좋아하다 is somebody liking something, or being pleased. Most of these lines are about why you like a person or a thing: because he is a smooth talker, because he looks like his dad, because of the message it carries. Two lines use the other sense — being delighted at getting an answer right. Keep 좋다 ('it is good') apart from 좋아하다 ('somebody likes it'); one line here uses both in a row.
