어서 넘기다

hand it over; sweep it back

An "-아서/-어서" clause naming the method, plus 넘기다, the causative of 넘어가다 — to pass, hand over, or push something across. The commonest use here is transferring ownership: they'd have handed it over at a huge discount, issue bonds and pass them on, apparently he signed it over back then. It also covers passing a turn along and, with hair, sweeping it back — you'd have to perm it to get it to sweep back, it's too short to push back. Note 넘기다 is you doing it to something; 넘어가다 is it going over by itself.
