오르다 is going up, and the clause in front gives the reason, the means or the stretch of time. Several of these lines are market talk, saying it did not rise only because the economy was good, that it did rise over the span of a few years, or that it rose to make back a loss, and the phrase for over the span of appears twice. The rest are literal: walking up and back up again, climbing a mountain because it is there, taking the stage.
