Two related uses show up here. Literally there is nothing of the kind available, as in is there anything to eat, or the worry that a vegan will find nothing to eat in Korea. Figuratively there is nothing to be gained from it, as in nothing good comes of poking the director, this does you no good either, and nothing about it is difficult. The second use is really a way of saying do not bother.
