Also spelled ulgogatda

I think it'll be; probably

Softens a statement about what will happen, or what would be true, into a personal impression: 오늘 하루가 재미있을 거 같아요 'I think today's going to be fun.' Korean speakers reach for it constantly where English would simply assert, so it often carries no real doubt — 여기 앉아 있을 수 있을 거 같아? is just 'can you sit here?' The 을 marks the thing as still to come or hypothetical; 은 거 같다 does the same job for how things are now, and 던 거 같다 for what you remember.
