I rather think; I doubt

Half these lines are 지 않을까 싶다, the double negative Korean uses to state an opinion gently: 아마 그날 대한민국이 들썩이지 않을까 싶을 정도로 'I reckon the whole country will be buzzing that day.' The other use is doubt about your own capacity — 왜냐하면 나는 혼자 여행을 갈 수 있을까 싶어요 'I'm not sure I could travel alone', 올 수 있을까 싶긴 한데 오고는 싶어. It can also imagine someone else's experience: 아이가 얼마나 힘들었을까 싶은데요.
