Two related senses. Attached to a verb it means the thing is worth doing or at least passable: 뭐 먹을만 하더라구요, 'it was decent enough to eat'. Applied to a reaction it means the reaction is warranted: 사람들이 와서 손가락질하면 열받을만 하지, 'anyone would be angry if people came and pointed fingers'. The standard spelling joins it to the verb — 먹을 만하다 — though these subtitles space it out.
