으면 끝나다

do that and it's over

-으면 끝나다 says one action settles the whole thing: score and we're done, grab it and the game ends, enter the password and the trade is complete. In cooking talk it means nothing further is needed — do it in a pressure cooker and that's it. It also carries the bleaker reading, as in the line about losing your youth and muscle: that's the end of you.
