Two things happening at once, with 가다 as the ongoing one — most often eating or listening during a journey: 붕어빵 사서 먹으면서 가야지, 차 안에서 먹으면서 가도록 하겠습니다, 멤버들이 녹음한 걸 이렇게 다 들으면서 갔는데. It also works for progress rather than travel, where 가다 is "proceed": 얇게 한 겹씩 한 겹씩 덮으면서 가다가, layering as you go. Register throughout is relaxed conversation.
