-은 척 하다 is putting on an act everyone knows is false. Half these lines are 못 들은 척 — pretending not to have heard, to dodge a request or to duck out of paying. 젊은 척 하지 마 is teasing someone for acting younger than they are. It nearly always carries a hint of calling the person out on the act.
