Three of these lines are the same running joke, that he eats it simply because it is there in front of him, with the caption pointing out that he ate it anyway. The others give a reason of the same everyday sort: I got forty per cent off, someone laid the food out for you so eat up and get your strength back, everyone was eating so I did too.
