게 반기다

welcome someone warmly

An adverb in "-게" plus 반기다, greeting someone with visible delight. Nearly every line is a thank-you for a warm reception: 따듯하게 and 따뜻하게 반겨주시고 "welcomed us warmly", 이렇게 반겨주셔서 너무 감사합니다 "thank you so much for welcoming us like this", 신나게 and 격하게 for an excited one. 반기다 is not just saying hello — it means being glad someone came, which is why it fits dogs and children at the door. One line is a report instead: the prime minister warmly welcomed the attendance.
