게 바르다

바르다 is spreading something onto a surface — cream, hair treatment, lipstick, sauce — and -게 says how: 얇게 바른 거 'spread thin', 립스틱 짙게 바르고 'lipstick on dark', 꼼꼼하게 바른 게 티가 남 'you can tell he applied it carefully'. One line uses the related 발라먹다, stripping a bone clean: 완전 깨끗하게 발라먹었네 'you picked that clean'.
