게 보이다

look; come across as

Says how a thing or a person appears to onlookers: 멋있지 않고 그냥 불쌍하게 보이는 그런 상태예요 'it doesn't look cool, just pitiful', 어떻게 하면 덜 나쁘게 보이게 할 수 있지? Very often the word in front is 이렇게 or 어떻게, asking why something looks the way it does — 이게 뭐야? 왜 이렇게 보여..? Be careful with 보이다 itself: it also means 'show', which is what 보여드리는 is doing in one line here, not 'look'.
