게 부딪히다

부딪히다 is impact — running into something or being run into. The adverb is usually 세게 "hard" or 크게: 아무리 머리를 세게 부딪혀도 절대 안 아픈 거야, 크게 부딪히셨네. It works just as naturally for people and interests colliding: 중국하고 미국이 진짜 세게 부딪히면서, 서로의 취향 같은 것들이 이렇게 부딪히는 그런. You will also see 부딪치다; 부딪히다 is the form that puts the speaker on the receiving end of the impact.
