게 붙다

stick to / be stuck up a certain way

붙다 is the intransitive 'stick, be attached' — nobody has to be doing the sticking. Signs and ads 붙어 있다 on walls and buses (광고가 이만하게 붙어가지고 'the ad was stuck up this big'), buildings 붙어 있다 packed against each other, and people 붙어 있다 when they press close together: 왜 이렇게 붙어있어? 'why are you sticking so close?'. -게 gives the manner or size. One line uses another sense of 붙다, squaring off in a contest: 어떻게 붙어야 되나요? 'how should we face off?'.
