찾아오다 is going to where someone is, deliberately — but the striking use here is of things arriving on their own: 늦게 찾아온 가을 (an autumn that came late), 뒤늦게 찾아오는 매운맛 (the heat that only hits you afterwards), 당사자도 모르게 찾아온 축복 (a blessing that arrived without her even knowing). Three of these lines use 늦게 or 뒤늦게, late or belatedly, which is the flavour it carries.
