게 던지다

throw it a certain way

-게 gives the manner of the throw: 너무 낮게 던진 거 아니에요? 'wasn't that thrown too low?', 좀 더 높게 던진다고 생각해야 'you should think of throwing it higher'. 이렇게 던져? on its own is a jab — 'you call that a throw?'. The last line applies the verb to speech, the same figure English has: 자신감 있게 던지는 것 같아요, 말들을 'he throws his words out with confidence'.
