게 하다

do it that way; make someone do it

Two related things share this shape. With a manner word in front it simply means do it that way, and this is where most of its huge frequency comes from — 이렇게 해요 "do it like this", 어떻게 할까요? "what should we do?", 자연스럽게 하는 말 "something you say naturally". With a clause in front, 게 하다 means make or let someone do something: 모르게 하라 "don't let them know", 다 받게 해 줄 테니까 "I'll see to it that he gets what's coming". Read which one it is from what sits before 게: an adverb-like word gives the first, a whole action gives the second.
