이러다 stands in for whatever the speaker is doing or demonstrating at that moment, the way English uses 'do this'. 어떻게 이러냐 is a complaint — how can you be like this, how is business this bad. On screen it usually comes with a gesture or a posture, so the words alone never tell you what 'this' is.
