time goes by quickly

An adverb plus 지나다, passing, and in these lines the subject is nearly always time. Half of them say it went by fast: time flies and it is already time to go home, the year went by so quickly, time is really flying. The rest use the word meaning like this to mark that a stretch has gone by already. One line is a false match, where the same syllable makes the phrase meaning more than two years.
