grow up a certain way
As a verb 크다 is growing — a child growing up, a plant growing well. The -게 slot says how: 건강하게 (healthily), 예쁘게 (nicely), 몰라보게 (beyond recognition), 멋있게 (into someone fine). Watch out that 크다 is also the adjective for 'big', which is what the line about something being ridiculously large is using.
