게 깨다

crack, break, or wake up

깨다 covers three things and all three appear here. Cracking something open, as in cracking the egg that way or cracking the chocolate with a spoon first. Breaking a mould or a framework, as in asking how you break out of it. And waking, as in waking up refreshed, snapping awake over and over, or waking up far too late. The adverb in front is usually just this way or how.
