게 만들다

makes something or someone become

Names a resulting state and says somebody caused it: what makes me happiest, turning a bad day into a better one, making the map bigger, making the CEO come begging, soap that makes things clean. It can also make a person do something, as with the makeup room built so he can lie down. Compare 게 되다, where the change happens on its own with nobody responsible; 게 만들다 puts an agent behind it, and sounds more forceful than the plainer 게 하다.
