맡다 does two unrelated jobs. Most lines here are smelling: 자기 발 냄새 이렇게 맡는 배우, 살짝씩 이렇게 맡아줘야 되기 때문에, [자기도 모르게 맡아버린 노잼 냄새]. The set phrase 냄새를 기가 막히게 맡다, "have an incredible nose for it," goes figurative easily — 돈 냄새 기가 막히게 맡는 레고. The other job is taking something on: 왕의 역할이나 이렇게 맡으면 is taking a part, and 허락을 왜 이렇게 맡아 is getting permission. Which one is meant depends on whether a smell or a duty is the object.
