A colour word in "-게" plus 물들다, "take on a colour, be dyed". Almost every line is scenery: foliage turned a pretty colour, a sunset dyed red, dusk where light and dark go red, a national map coloured deep blue on election night. It also goes to feeling — my heart feels like it's turning yellow too. 물들다 is the colour soaking in on its own, not someone applying it, which is why it suits leaves and skies.
