fly, in a particular way

An adverb in "-게" plus 날다 "fly", with the adverb usually being 어떻게 "how" or 이렇게/저렇게 "like this": how do birds fly, how did it fly, flying about like that having a dogfight, they fly low as well. It covers real flight, air travel — Jakarta, reached after more than six hours in the air — and the freedom metaphor, flying freely like a bird. 날다 is the flying itself; 날아가다 adds a destination or the sense of going off.
