게 나누다

split it; share it

나누다 divides a thing and hands the parts round, so it means both splitting and sharing: 하나씩 이렇게 나눠 가질 수 있게, (직원들과 맛있게 나눠 먹겠습니다) 'we'll share it out with the staff.' Dividing time works the same way — 그걸 5분을 어떻게 나눠 내가. Korean also uses it for conversation and greetings, where English would just say 'have': 오늘 이렇게 진솔하게 나눈 토크, [뒤늦게 나누는 새해 인사].
