게 넘어가다

let it pass, smoothly or not

넘어가다 is getting past something — a topic, an awkward moment, someone's mistake. The -게 adverb says how: 부드럽게 넘어가다 "slide past smoothly", 웃기게 넘어가다 "turn it into a joke and move on", 빠르게 넘어가다 "skip on quickly". 넘어가 주다 is deliberately letting someone off, as in 이렇게 넘어가 주는 게 "letting it slide like that". The last line uses the drink sense instead — 부드럽게 넘어가는 게, going down smooth.
