거나 하다

or something like that

Names one case and leaves the rest of the category open, the way English tacks on 'or whatever.' Three lines here are 거나 하면, setting up a loose condition: 집이 좀 넓어지거나 하면 한번 생각해봐야겠어요 'if I get a bigger place or something.' In the negative it denies the whole category at once — 뭘 씹거나 하지는 않는 것 같아요 'I don't really chew on anything.' Its job is to keep a statement from sounding too definite.
