게 생기다

'Looks / is shaped like…'

With an adverb in front, 생기다 stops meaning 'to arise' and describes appearance instead: 예쁘게 생긴 애들 'good-looking kids', 제가 아는 방울양배추랑 다르게 생겼는데요? 'these look different from the Brussels sprouts I know.' 이렇게 생긴 is the everyday way to say 'shaped like this' — 언덕이라는 곳은 이렇게 생긴 곳인데요 'a hill is a place shaped like this.' Note it describes how something looks, never what it does.
