bring it to life; save it

살리다 is to make something live, and the adverb says how. In performance talk it means bringing a line or a scene to life: make it funnier, make that scene come alive, look at the way he brings that line off. Elsewhere in these lines it is rescue in a plainer sense, such as reviving a piece of clothing from the back of a closet, saving a company, or saving a ball in play.
