게 때리다

hit it hard, or slap on

The literal use dominates: 세게 때리다 "hit hard" fills five of these lines, mostly play-fighting and how much it stings. 때리다 also stretches to things administered forcefully — 관세를 높게 때리다 "slap high tariffs on", and slangily 커피를 때리다, knocking back a coffee. For being on the receiving end the verb switches to 맞다: 세게 맞다 "get hit hard".
