게 울리다

ring out, sound loudly

울리다 is something sounding out — bells, an alarm bell, a phone going off again and again. 울려 퍼지다 is that sound spreading through a space. The -게 slot gives the character of the sound: 장중하게 (solemnly), 크게 (loudly), 요란법석하게 (in a racket), 청아하게 (clearly and pure). One caption jokes that a stomach rumbling on cue is a belly clock ringing right on time.
