게 와닿다

it hits home, it resonates

An adverb in "-게" plus 와닿다, literally "come and touch" — the feeling of something landing on you personally. Six of these eight lines use the same adverb, 크게 "greatly": that remark really hit him, that sort of thing lands much harder for me, it doesn't really hit home for me since I'm self-employed. Note that it is about emotional impact, not about understanding — 이해되다 is understanding, 와닿다 is feeling it.
