고 앉다

Literally, sitting while holding or doing something: 이젠 이렇게 식빵을 들고 앉아있네요, 혼자 쪼그리고 앉아 있다고? 'squatting there on your own?' 각 잡고 앉다 is settling in properly to a task. Worth knowing separately is the dismissive use, where 고 앉아 있다 adds exasperation at what someone is doing: 아무리 개그맨이지만 웃기고 앉아 있네 정말 — roughly 'sitting there being ridiculous.'
